Krakow, Vistula and the Nida Valley

The Małopolska section of the Vistula Cycle Route is a standout for long-distance cycling in Poland. Over 100 km of modern paths were built along the river embankments in 2016–17, offering safe, scenic, and traffic-free riding. The route is now part of EuroVelo 4 and runs from Oświęcim to Szczucin, passing charming riverside towns, historic sites, and lush landscapes. Divided into flat and easy daily stages, it allows a relaxed pace while enjoying Poland’s culture, nature, and the ever-present Vistula River views.
