Following this stage of EuroVelo 3 - Pilgrims Route, you will reach Paris, from where you can continue in the direction of Santiago de Compostela on the well-known Via Turonensis. The Estelle Path goes from St. Quentin to Paris via Noyon and Compiègne. Among the highlights of the route are the Noyon Cathedral, where Charlemagne was crowned as co-King of the Franks in 768, and the Château de Compiègne, a royal residence built for Louis XV and restored by Napoleon. Arriving in Paris, you will no doubt be impressed to learn that the entire right hand side of the bank of the Senne river has been pedestrianised, and is 100% bicycle friendly.
