Upon reaching Finland’s southern coast, you’ll arrive in Turku, the country’s former capital, known for its rich heritage and stunning archipelago. From there, the route follows the historic Kings Road through Helsinki, tracing the Gulf of Finland. Along the route east of Helsinki, there are idyllic coastal towns with wooden houses. However, as the Russian border cannot currently be crossed, it is recommended to take a ferry from Helsinki to Tallinn, Estonia. On Estonia’s northern coast, the breathtaking Lahemaa National Park is a must-visit highlight.
