The Norwegian National Cycle Network are 10 national cycle routes connecting most of the country. Many of the routes are already signposted and some of them are part of EuroVelo, the European cycle route network.
EuroVelo 7 in Norway starts at the North Cape, situated on the northern coast of the island of Magerøya in Northern Norway. Then starts the long southbound ride, first along Porsangerflorden and then inland, along the Stabbursdalen National Park and down to the Norwagian-Finnish border! Take some time to feel the magic of the North Cape, it includes a 307-metre-high cliff (located about 2,102 km from the North Pole) with a large flat plateau on top, where visitors can watch the midnight sun and views of the Barents Sea to the north. Of course, to see the midnight sun, start your journey between 14 May and 31 July!
