The route starts at North Cape: the northernmost point of Europe, at the Barents Sea's coast. You will ride south, through the land of the Sami people, and you might get to observe flocks of reindeers along the route. From the city of Tromsø you will follow the coast southwards through Senja, Andøya and Lofoten, where steep mountains rise high above the ocean. At the Helgeland coast you will cross the arctic circle and say goodbye to the midnight sun. But this area still has daylight for most of the night in the summertime!
Note: on this part of the route you will have to cross a lot of tunnels and take many ferries.
