These EuroVelo GPX tracks are made available under the Open Database License. While ECF and National EuroVelo Coordination Centers and Coordinators (NECCs) make every effort to ensure the tracks and their levels of development are both current and accurate, errors or outdated information can occur. The user is fully responsible for his or her own safety when making use of the tracks and for following national traffic rules and signing.

EuroVelo 13 allows cyclists to follow the 'Iron Curtain', the border that divided Europe into East and West for almost half a century during the course of the cold war. The more than 10,600 km long route offers a living history lesson while reminding us that peace and reconciliation are now more needed than ever. One of the longest EuroVelo routes, it has something to offer for everyone: foodies will love the vineyards of southern Czechia and northern Austria; nature enthusiasts can enjoy the pristine greenery and wildlife in the former no man's land of the border; while cultural connoisseurs can look forward to the bustling port cities of the Baltic and vibrant capitals such as Bratislava and Riga.
The development of EuroVelo 13 – Iron Curtain Trail is supported by the Interreg Central Europe project ICTr-CE. In the context of the project, ECF together with project partners developed an innovative cycling product - known as Good Impact Cycling - sold by official EuroVelo 13 Booking Centres to allow cyclists to experience the Iron Curtain Trail while leaving a positive influence. Using tools such as the CARMACAL carbon footprint calculator and the Impact Measurement System, the offers estimate the environmental and social impact of the tours. The Good Impact Programme reduces these impacts by allocating funds to projects focusing on environmental, social, and economic impacts, strengthening the positive contributions of cycling tourism to the regions. On Austrian territory there are train stations along the route about every five kilometres. The combination with the many Bed+Bike accommodation establishments allows for very flexible travel, depending on the weather or personal preferences. The certified Bett+Bike accommodation establishments welcome cyclists for just one night, offer safe parking spaces and help with minor breakdowns.

The brochure “Lithuania on Two Wheels” provides comprehensive information for cycling trips around Lithuania. It covers details about the routes, target groups for whom the bicycle paths and infrastructure are adapted, road types (e.g., gravel, bicycle paths), places of interest, transportation services, rental locations, and other essential information.

The “Two Wheels, All of Poland” map presents a complete overview of cycling opportunities across Poland. It includes all EuroVelo routes, as well as the highest-quality national and regional trails. Cyclists can also find MTB and single-track centers, Bike-Friendly locations, and QR codes linking to detailed route information. Designed for easy navigation, the map is an essential companion for planning scenic rides, challenging adventures, or leisurely tours anywhere in Poland.
The bett+bike logo by ADFC can be found not only in Germany but in many other countries such as Austria, Belgium or Denmark. On the website certified accommodations are divided in four categories: bett+bike hosts, sports, camping and holiday homes. In addition, the results can be subdivided into regions and cycle routes.
In order to promote cycling tourism, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) developed the “Bicycle Friendly Accommodation Facilities Certificate” for accommodations offering specific services for cyclists.
"Radtouren in Österreich" offers a range of bike friendly accommodations that can be filtered in regions or cycle paths. Certified with the "bett+bike" quality label by ADFC.
Along the 'Elberadweg' in Germany cycling friendly pubs and accommodations welcome cyclists with the label "radfreundlich" using the requirements issued by the ADFC as a guide.
Bike Friendly is a nationwide network of certified accommodation properties — including resorts, hotels, villas, guesthouses and campsites — as well as municipalities/destinations and specialised partners such as cycling companies, bicycle rental and service providers, travel agencies specialising in cycling tourism, wineries, visitor attractions and food and beverage establishments that support and facilitate cycling-related experiences. The Bike Friendly Label is awarded to organisations and businesses in Greece that fulfil defined service and infrastructure standards, ensuring quality support and a welcoming environment for cyclists.
"Radpartner Niederösterreich" establishments offer cycling-friendly accommodation, excursion destinations, and dining options, completed by practical services and suitable facilities. Cyclists are warmly welcomed here.
"Miejsce Przyjazne Rowerzystom" is the recently created (2022) bicycle-friendly system of the Westpomerania Region, Poland, providing services to cyclists, divided into the following categories: accommodation facilities, catering facilities, tourist attractions, tourist information points and other commercial and service facilities.
The interactive map of long distance cycle routes in Czechia contains various types of services for cyclists such as accommodations, campsites, restaurants and tourist attractions. The results can be also filtered by type of service and cycle route. The initiative is part of the Cyclists Welcome in V4 project.
In Slovakia cycling friendly accommodations, restaurants, camping and tourist attractions can be viewed on the interactive map of the cycling friendly service network "vitajte cyklisti".

The Cyclist Welcome programme in Estonia is designed to make life easier for cyclists looking for accommodation answering their needs. Cyclist Welcome certified businesses cater to cycling tourists by providing secure storage for bicycles, a foot pump and basic tools, a charging station, and information on cycling routes and services in the area. These certified accommodations are also available to share ideas for extending your cycling holiday, making an extra stop, relaxing, and discovering more of the local life.
In Hungary, the national cycling-friendly service scheme was launched in cooperation with MAKETUSZ in the frame of the Cyclists Welcome in Visegrad countries project. There are now nearly 1400 certified members. You’ll recognise cyclist-friendly hotels, hostels, boarding houses, holiday apartments, and other accommodation with the bicycle signs.
Velo Popas is the first certification for cycling friendly services in Romania. The project is part of the Cyclists Welcome network and is coordinated by POPASURI - an NGO aiming to promote and to protect the Romanian heritage through sustainable activities and tourism. The certification process is managed by Bike in time.
Finland offers a wide range of bike-friendly accommodations, restaurants, cafes, tour operators, attractions, and bike transport services, all dedicated to providing excellent service for cycling travelers. These establishments adhere to the bike-friendly service standards set by Bikeland and can be easily recognized by the Welcome Cyclist badge displayed at their entrance.
